Enjoy Another Winter Weekend with Art Walks, Snowshoes, Skiing and Fireworks

Discover Scranton’s artistic side and check out the awesome downtown shops and restaurants during the popular First Friday art walk. Then, don’t miss the popular Dave Matthews tribute, A Proud Monkey, at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe on Saturday night.

Bring the little ones out to the Waverly Community House on Friday for a morning full of music, movement and learning. Check out the incredible local artwork at the Walk In Art Center in Schuylkill Haven during their immersive First Saturday Studio Walk. Try your luck with a little Live Harness Racing all weekend long at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes-Barre.

Stock up on all your farm fresh goodies on Saturday morning at the Main Street Farmers Market at the Cooperage in Honesdale. Then, head over to Montage Mountain for skiing and fireworks during their popular, annual Mountainfest. And Saturday evening brings live, local party band, Toolshed Jack to the Tamaqua Community Arts Center.

Bring your weekend to a close with a new winter tradition on Sunday at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area during their first annual Bigfoot Race.
