Celebrate a Double Holiday Weekend with Ice Sculptures, Brunch and a Little NEPA Wine
Make your way to Clarks Summit this weekend for a little shopping, dining and over 50 ice sculptures at the annual Ice Festival. Enjoy some fresh air and a little relaxation on the D&H Rail Trail on Saturday morning during the Second Saturday Trail Yoga Hike. Then, on Sunday, treat yourself to a special Valentine’s Day Brunch and a little live music at Breaker Brewing Outpost in Archbald.
Indulge the senses with a little yoga and sweetness at Jaya Yoga’s special Chakras & Chocolate event on Friday. Spend your weekend pairing NEPA wine and chocolate at six wineries throughout Columbia and Montour Counties. On Saturday, check out the ice sculpture safari at Downtown Stroudsburg’s WinterFest. And, don’t miss out on a delicious holiday brunch all weekend at The Settlers Inn in Hawley.
Take the kids down to Winterfest on Friday and Saturday at the Pottsville Free Public Library for a day filled with crafts, games and contests. Saturday also brings a pair of local farmers markets. Pre-order all your goodies and then stop by the South Side Farmers Market in Scranton for pickup. Or, make your way to the Lehighton Recreation Center for fresh produce and more at the popular Winter Market.
Keep the romance alive on Saturday evening with a picturesque stroll through Jim Thorpe during the Love & Light Luminary Walk.

Bring the kids down to the Pottsville Free Public Library for this unique celebration of all things winter and Valentine’s Day. Take part in crafts, contests, fun challenges, games and enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies.

Treat yourself to a stress-reducing, refreshing and recharging snowshoe hike along the D&H Rail Trail in Carbondale. Throughout the walk, learn breathing and stretching exercises aimed at inspiring vitality and reducing stress.

Load up the pantry this Saturday at the Lehighton Recreation Center during the popular Winter Market. Fill up on farm-fresh produce, homemade dairy products, eggs, meat, baked goods and more. The market also features handmade crafts.

Make your way to charming Jim Thorpe for a romantic moonlight stroll through town. Enjoy light displays up and down Broadway, and don’t forget to stop by the Gilded Cupid for a special Steal-A-Kiss photo op.
