Get Outside this Weekend for an Ice Festival, Ice Fishing and a Little Wine & Chocolate
Head to Downtown Scranton all weekend for the city’s inaugural Ice Festival. Do a little shopping and check out over 50 amazing ice sculptures. Stop by Sorrenti Family Estate in Saylorsburg on Saturday or Sunday for their popular Galentine’s Day wine and moonshine event. Then, on Sunday morning take in the snowy forest scenery on a cross country skiing adventure with the pros from the Pocono Environmental Education Center.
Strap on the skis or snowboard on Sunday and race down Shawnee Mountain for a great cause. Grab your tip-ups and hit the ice on Saturday at Frances Slocum State Park for the 24th Annual Ice Fishing Derby.
Stop by The Cooperage in Honesdale on Saturday and load up on farm-fresh goodies at the Main Street Farmers Market. On Sunday, stop by the Friedman JCC in Kingston and stock up on gifts at their Sweet Hearts Day Indoor Marketplace. Pick up some delicious soup along with a hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind ceramic Soup-er bowl on Friday at the Walk In Art Center in Schuylkill Haven. Then, make your way to the D&H Trail in Uniondale on Saturday for the kickoff to NEPA Tail on the Trail’s awesome Winter Challenge.
And don’t miss out on some truly sweet pairings on the Valentine’s Wine & Chocolate Trail this weekend through Valentine’s Day at six participating wineries in Columbia & Montour Counties.

Get your wine on this February at six incredible Columbia & Montour County wineries. Each winery will feature wine and chocolate pairings and exclusive chances to win wine-filled prize baskets. The event runs through Valentine’s Day.
