Winter Fun Is Serious Business in Northeastern Pennsylvania
There’s no better way to beat the cold than by carving your way down a mountainside. Whether you make your way down on skis or a board, our renowned slopes deliver some of the finest winter recreation in the country. And here’s the best part: anyone can do it.
You don’t need to be an experienced skier to get out there on the powder, and you don’t have to drop a week’s pay just to bring your family to the mountain for a snowy evening. Many regional ski resorts offer daily discounts on everything from lift passes to ski and snowboard rentals. And if you’re not sure you have the skills to shred from top to bottom, many slopes offer lessons with trained professionals.
This season, our local ski resorts are going above and beyond to offer safe, outdoor fun this winter. You’ll notice extra precautions like distancing at the lifts and grab-and-go food options. Some locations are requiring reservations or selling online-only tickets to cut down on crowds. Make sure to check each resort’s COVID safety procedures before you bundle up and head out.
