Fill Your Fridge and Pantry with a Little Help from NEPA’s Farms, CSA’s and Farm Markets.
Let’s face it. Recently, we’ve all spent some time picking over what was left of the supermarket produce aisle. And while it was necessary, getting exactly what we needed was often a simple matter of timing.
This is where local farms, CSA’s and farm markets can save the day. They’re still open, still producing, and still selling. You just need to look for them. Take a little of that uncertainty out of your weekly produce run. And do your part to help out a small business in return. The produce is fresh-picked. The eggs, meat and dairy are responsibly harvested. And the good people behind the scenes, like you and I, are just trying to feed their families.
Below, we’ve compiled a list of local farms, CSA’s and farm markets allowed to remain open throughout the state mandated closures. We welcome any similar local organizations to join our list. Please contact us through email, Facebook, or Instagram.
Visit, call, email, or hit em’ up on social media. Many local farms are happy to take orders over the phone or on-line. And, just so you know, quite a few of them also have ice cream.
And don’t forget, for all of our friends, families, and neighbors, continue observing all recommended health and safety precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
