Fill Your Fridge and Pantry with a Little Help from NEPA’s Farms, CSA’s and Farm Markets.

When spring rolls around, you know what that means: farmers markets, roadside farm stands and pick-your-own season is open for business! We make do with the supermarket selections of produce, dairy and meats the rest of the year, but nothing in those aisles can compare to our locally-sourced goods.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and farm stands are overflowing with ripe fruits, healthy veggies, fresh eggs, lean meats and tasty cheeses grown, produced and harvested with love right here from our community farmers. The produce is always fresh-picked and the eggs, meat and dairy responsibly harvested. And by shopping local, you’re helping out a small business right here in NEPA.

The next time you need to restock, instead of the grocery store, take a drive and visit a farm or farm stand. Keep in mind, many local farms are happy to take orders over the phone or online. And, as a bonus, quite a few of them also have ice cream.
