Holiday Cheer is coming to NEPA
Time to pack up the turkey and stuffing and bring out the cookies and eggnog. The Old Elf Man has begun to double check his list, fill his sleigh, and round up his reindeer in preparation for his big departure; and we all know what that means—the beloved live holiday shows and concerts are returning to NEPA.
Pause on all that shopping and baking to take a moment to experience the North Pole magic that comes to NEPA every year. Put on that ugly sweater and grab those tickets. Join your favorite holiday characters as they embark on their holly, jolly adventures while listening to your favorite holiday tunes.

Who doesn’t love the timeless story of Santa’s favorite reindeer, Rudolph? Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical will return to the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre this November to bring Christmas cheer to all who attend.
December 2
The Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic presents Pops II: Holiday Concert “To the North Pole!” at the Scranton Cultural Center. Join the Ballet Theatre of Scranton, the Choral Society of NEPA, and the Bloomsburg University Concert Choir on a journey to the North Pole. There will also be a visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, so be sure to bring the whole family!

My Italian Christmas Concert starring Anthony Nunziata is back at The Theater at North in Scranton due to popular demand. Join this cheerful singer as he rings in the holidays performing this exclusive Christmas concert.

For more than half of a century, the University of Scranton’s Singers, Chamber Ensembles, String Orchestra and Flute Ensemble have come together to perform Christmas favorites to the community. The Pocono Pops! Symphony Orchestra and Chorus is bringing the holiday spirit to the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg this December. No matter your age, join them as they celebrate the anticipated arrival of Santa! Toys for Tots will be accepting donations at this event, so don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy with you.

Experience the beloved classic, NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet, at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre this holiday season. With an international cast and Ukrainian Principal Artists, the performance is sure to captivate the entire family.

Come listen to the King’s Christmas classics performed by award-winning Elvis tribute artist, Ryan Pelton, at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe. An Elvis Christmas show has been a seasonal favorite amongst NEPA residents for quite some years now.

Mannheim Steamroller will be stopping at the Scranton Cultural Center this December during their fan-favorite annual Christmas Tour. Dance, sing, and clap to Mannheim Steamroller’s very own Christmas songs, and allow yourself to be taken over by the holiday spirit.

This adaptation of the classic, The Nutcracker, will be presented by the Scranton Civic Ballet Company at The Theater at North in Scranton. Come watch these dancers as they use their extraordinary talents to tell the story of the little girl, the living nutcracker, and the evil Mouse King.

The Fabulous 45s’s holiday party at the Regal Room in Olyphant is sure to be a rocking one! Put on your best dancing shoes, and come swing to the band’s renditions of beloved Christmas classics.

For those of you who would prefer a little thrill to your Christmas season, Montage Mountain Resorts presents The Most Wonderful Crime of the year—a wickedly festive comedy. Attendees are encouraged to wear their ugliest sweaters and band together to discover who the murderer is.

The Reimel Centre in Montrose is bringing the tear-jerking Christmas classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, to the stage. This adaptation of the beloved movie will have families feeling a bit more thankful for one-another this holiday season.

Rising country singer Jessica Lynn is coming to the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg this December. Her festive performance will feature some of her originals, along with some Christmas classics. Toys for Tots will be collecting at the Jessica Lynn Christmas Spectacular, so don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate.

Join Buddy on his trip from the North Pole to the Big Apple with this adaptation of the classic blockbuster, Elf. Fusia Center for the Arts’s talented dancers will perform Little Elf, Big City at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg this holiday season.

Join comedians Sharon Simon, Kenneth McLaurin and John Grier for some jolly laughs at the Grierfest Christmas Comedy Show at The Sherman Showcase in Stroudsburg.

Twelve Twenty-Four is the nation’s longest running tribute to the famous Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and they will be coming to The Theater at North in Scranton this December. Come rock out to Trans-Siberian Orchestra classics, as well as Twelve Twenty-Four originals.
