Make the Most of Your Last Few Summer Weekends
Now’s the time to cram in tons of last-minute summer fun.
Typically, the end of August in NEPA means it’s time for the summer slowdown. A few wild months of fun in the sun catches up to us and, by the time those school bells start to chime, we’re glued to Adirondack chairs, counting lightning bugs and looking back on another awesome summer.
And, what a season it was. We took on the whitewater and hiked nearly right out of our boots. We dined outside and stumbled upon a little brewery, or two. And, in between our fair share of Mulligans, our penchant for picnics in the park and our tireless quest to find new farmers markets, we’ve compiled a few months-worth of warm weather memories.
But we’re not even close to being done. So long as daylight’s burning, so is our passion for all things summer in NEPA. We’ve got a whole unchecked list of cool sights to see and a thousand things to do. There’s still plenty of time for roller coasters, sugar-dusted funnel cakes and a little of that delicious NEPA wine. So, get out there and squeeze every last bit of fun out of this summer.
And, if you need a little motivation, check out this convenient list of last-minute summer adventures.
