Nothing Beats Home Cooking
Owning a restaurant was a bucket list item for Tammy Stochla. She loved baking and was constantly cooking for a house full of kids, so it only made sense to share her delicious, home-cooked recipes with the community. She opened Tammy’s Kitchen in Larksville about two and a half years ago, and it quickly became a favorite local spot for breakfast and lunch.
Between the comfort food, cute décor and friendly neighborhood feel, Tammy’s Kitchen makes you feel right at home. Everything’s homemade, like the traditional haluski, classic macaroni and cheese and made-to-order pasties. What they’re really known for, though, is the all-day breakfast.
We know, we know, the series is supposed to be about lunch. But when breakfast is calling our name, we just can’t resist. We tried a taco omelet with all the fixings, including beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, salsa, sour cream, jalapeños and tortilla chips. With a side of Tammy’s amazing home fries, it’s a delicious choice no matter what time of day.
Order the signature stuffed waffles, and you’ll understand why the restaurant’s motto is “sinfully delicious.” Tammy’s Kitchen makes huge waffles and folds them over rich, indulgent cream. They have tons of different toppings like fresh fruit, Oreo cookies, peanut butter cream and more. Go ahead, just give into the temptation. It’s so worth it.
Tammy’s Kitchen is located at 600 East Main Street in Larksville. They’re currently open for in-house dining and takeout. Follow their Facebook page for the latest specials, and check out our deal to get $5 off when you spend $25 or more.
