Let’s Do Lunch: Revello’s Old Forge Pizza

Dishing out classic Old Forge Pizza in Kingston

Since 2016, Revello’s has been bringing that famous Old Forge Pizza NEPA knows and loves to a convenient location in Kingston. We stopped in recently, to get our hands on a few menu items.

First, we sat down with owners, Pat and Heather Revello to chat about the impact their business has on the local community. What Pat and Heather enjoy most is seeing customers create memories while sharing one of their iconic red trays. And even if you’re away from home and craving your favorite NEPA pizza, they’ve got you covered. Revello’s ships their mouthwatering cuts all over the US daily.

First, we had to start off with the classic — a red tray of Old Forge Pizza. We could smell the melted cheese and savory tomato sauce making its way out of the kitchen. There’s really only one way to put it. This pizza tastes like home. Between the pillowy crust and out-of-this world flavor, it’s no secret why this pizza brings in people from beyond NEPA’s borders.

Of course, we weren’t leaving the pizza category so soon. Next, we tried the Broccoli White tray. This combo from pizza heaven offered up freshly chopped broccoli and stringy cheese on a perfectly baked crust.

From there, we moved onto the Fresh Chicken Bites. The crispy, bite-size pieces of chicken and their tangy wing sauce paired beautifully with our pizza. Then, it was sandwich time. We gave the famous Hot Porketta Sandwich a go. Between the bakery-fresh roll, the tender, juicy porketta and the crispy fries, it’s easy to see why this one’s a Revello’s favorite.

Finally, after some prodding from a few fellow customers, we tried the Fried Pierogies. The delicious, little crispy pillows are available in a variety of fillings. We opted for the Fried Buffalo Chicken style. They arrived perfectly crunchy and generously stuffed with grilled, shredded chicken and that tasty wing sauce. In all, they were a welcomed twist on a NEPA classic.

Be sure to check out Revello’s on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop on special events and menu items.
