Classic American Diner Cuisine with a Modern Flair
Market Street Burgers is Kingston’s newest hot spot to grab a bite. Even with just a few weeks in a soft opening phase, owner Matt Borwick explains that the restaurant has already seen a steady stream of customers. Everyone seems excited to test out some of the biggest burgers this side of the Susquehanna. With the official grand opening on April 1, we decided to give them a try ourselves.
Given the name, you can bet that they have an incredible lineup of burgers. The Specialty Burgers menu showcases some of the more popular and interesting offerings, including vegan and vegetarian choices. And if you want to get creative, building your own burger masterpiece is totally encouraged.
From the variety of burgers, we chose the famous “AB!” Piled high with bacon, cooper cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and chipotle mayo, it’s easy to see why it is a fan favorite. Of course, we also had to try one of their non-burger options. From a menu including hotdogs and BLTs, we chose the Grilled Bacon and Cheese. This classic grilled cheese topped with crispy bacon is a perfect burger alternative.
You can’t have a burger without a side or two. Market Street Burgers’ fresh-cut fries alone are delicious, but we really went all out. We got our mountain of fries topped with cheese, chili and bacon. In our opinion, it was definitely the right decision. Finally, for the full “modern diner” experience, we ordered a chocolate milkshake. There’s truly no better (or more delicious) way to wash down your burger and fries.
Market Street Burgers is located at 311 Market Street in Kingston. You can order over the counter and dine in (or outside, in the upcoming warmer days) or order to go online. Delivery is available through DoorDash. Check out the Market Street Burgers Facebook page and website to view the menu and stay up to date on specials.
