Over the next few weeks, festive pop-up shops, some part of adorable cookie-cutter holiday celebrations filled with family festivities, twinkling lights and parades, will rival Santa’s workshop. Crafters, artisans and community small businesses will be on hand with unique pieces and handcrafted gifts. You’ll be checking off that list in no time with a little help from these holiday markets.
November 24 & 25
The Bloomsburg Fairgrounds transform into a winter wonderland with the start of Winterfest. Between carriage rides, a parade of lights and even a festive 5K, you’ll find over 200 local craft vendors spreading holiday cheer.

Make a special stop at the Stegmaier Mansion for a merry day at the Winter Vendor Market on Small Business Saturday. Shop local, unique holiday artisan and artsy craft vendors, enjoy tasty bites from the food trucks on hand, partake in holiday themed drinks, and visit with Santa Claus himself.

Wilkes-Barre’s Public Square will transform into a vendor market with over 25 local vendors and businesses. Strolling carolers, holiday activities for the whole family and photos with Santa make this a festive family event.

Open select dates from November 25th through December 22nd, this annual holiday shop offers handmade goods and fine art by local artisans. From artwork and jewelry to ceramics and home decor, you’ll be sure to find the perfect holidays gifts.

Spanning five floors of the Scranton Cultural Center, the Buy Local Holiday Marketplace has just about every kind of gift you could imagine. Check everyone off your list at this annual market featuring 100 local businesses, artisans and wineries.
December 1-3
Head to Scranton for the annual Lackawanna Winter Market. This weekend-long vendor fair brings the area’s best businesses and artists together under the Courthouse Square Christmas tree for great food, shopping and, of course, plenty of holiday fun.

Downtown Tunkhannock transforms into a quaint Christmas village for their annual Christmas In Our Town festival. There’ll be vendors and artisans selling unique gifts inside Nativity BVM Church, plus a Santa parade, tree lighting, wagon rides, treats, and more.

Downtown Pittston invites you to savor the season with an old-fashion holiday market. The Tomato Festival lot is transformed with a heated tent featuring over 50 local vendors, hot chocolate and fresh hot popcorn, live music, trolley rides and more for this 3rd annual event. Admission and parking are free.

The 2nd Annual Christmas Village takes over Memorial Park in Hazleton for three Sunday’s this December. Kick off your holiday season with vendors, food, music, reindeer games, hot cocoa and Mr. & Mrs. Claus.

Enjoy an enchanting holiday shopping experience every Wednesday-Sunday until Christmas at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. There will be delicious treats, unique gifts and a festive wonderland to explore all month long.

The Releafery hosts their annual holiday market for the fourth year in a row. Stop by their new location, explore the local business neighbors offering holiday specials and find special gifts from local artists, makers and creators for the people on your shopping list.

The George Burger & Sons’ 4th Annual Winterfest is more than just a holiday marketplace. In between shopping for those perfect gifts, you can sample foods from local food trucks and even go home with a fresh Christmas tree.
