Family Fun in September 2021

Farewell Summer & Hello Fall Fun!

School’s back in session, but don’t completely give up on summer just yet. Here in NEPA, the outdoor fun keeps on rolling through Labor Day and beyond. The days are still sunny and mild, perfect for squeezing in a few more family hikes, whitewater trips and baseball games before the autumn chill sets in.

Even though we’re sad to see summer go, we can’t help but look forward to the return of apple picking, corn mazes and pumpkin patches. Many fall attractions are reopening for the season (in fact, we can almost smell those sweet cider donuts). And parents will have just as much fun as the kids at NEPA’s countless fall festivals and county fairs.

Round up the kids and give summer a proper send-off. Our list of family-friendly events will help you make the most of this beautiful month.
