Hello Northeastern Pennsylvania!
We hope you are all safe, healthy and, above all, doing your best to remain positive. Please, for all of our friends, families, and neighbors, continue observing all recommended health and safety precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). We will do our best to keep you up to date regarding any relevant changes or announcements concerning federal, state or local responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the last two years, we’ve found immense joy in rediscovering home one great local story at a time. We’ve delighted in sharing all of the things that make Northeastern Pennsylvania one of the greatest places to live, work, and play. And your enthusiastic support throughout has been nothing short of inspiring. We know that you love it here. Your positivity, your eagerness to explore, your undaunted pride and your love for the communities you call home are what drive us forward.
Our overriding goal at DiscoverNEPA is showing the world what makes this place so special. And we are committed to continuing this mission when the time is right. For now, as we face this global health crisis together, we’ve found it prudent to do our part to protect our community and staff.
In an effort to encourage people to minimize travel, avoid social gatherings and to practice federal and state recommended health and safety measures, we will momentarily approach our coverage a little bit differently.
We hope to remain a source of information, inspiration and occasional entertainment. Please continue to follow DiscoverNEPA as we adjust to a content stream that is more sensitive to our community’s needs and our collective efforts to keep everyone safe.
Our top priority is to deliver accurate, reliable information. Of course, we will still provide glimpses of those wonderful things that make NEPA so great. We’ll just be changing the tone to “Remember when…” or “Some day soon…” or “Try this at home…”
Until daylight breaks on the other side of this difficult time, stay safe, stay engaged and do your best to help one another.
