NEPA’s County Fairs Are All About Classic Country Fun
The colorful lights of the midway, the smell of fresh-cut fries and the roaring engines at a tractor pull can only mean one thing: it’s county fair season in NEPA. From 4-H shows to blue-ribbon pies, the fairs showcase our region’s rich heritage.
County fairs offer affordable fun for the whole family. Enjoy live entertainment around the clock, like concerts, magic shows, circus acts and more. Stuff your pockets full of ride tickets and try your luck at the carnival games. And make sure to bring your appetite, because everyone knows that the food is one of the best parts of fair season. You’ll find just about any deep-fried delicacy you can dream of, from crispy funnel cakes to sizzling potato pancakes.
Gather up the family and squeeze in some end-of-summer fun. We’ve rounded up nine county fairs going on from August through October.
