NEPA’s County Fairs Are All About Classic Country Fun
The colorful lights of the midway, the smell of fresh-cut fries and the roaring engines at a tractor pull can only mean one thing: it’s county fair season in NEPA. From 4-H shows and rodeos to carnival rides and blue-ribbon pies, the fairs showcase the best that the area has to offer.
County fairs are all about affordable fun for the whole family. You’ll find live entertainment around the clock, like concerts, magic shows, circus acts and more. Stuff your pockets full of ride tickets and try your luck at the game booths. We don’t have a clue where to put a giant, stuffed gorilla—all we know is, we have to win it.
And make sure to bring your appetite, because everyone knows that the food is one of the best parts of fair season. You’ll find just about any deep-fried delicacy you can think of, from crispy funnel cakes to sizzling potato pancakes.
Gather up the family and squeeze in some end-of-summer fun. We’ve rounded up nine county fairs from now through October.
