Celebrating NEPA’s Energy Industry with Baseball, Hot Dogs and Cold Beer
On Thursday, July 18, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders and Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation along with other local energy industry partners came together for Energy Night at PNC Field. The event was aimed at promoting the immense growth and economic potential of NEPA’s energy industry. For the past four years, Energy Night has brought together industry professionals, employees and the community.
Special, $35 tickets were sold for the game and they included an all-you-can-eat buffet. And while most of the focus remained on the home team’s battle with the Columbus Clippers, news of the energy industry’s future job opportunities stole the show. A portion of all proceeds from the event was donated to The Energy Education Fund to benefit STEM education across Pennsylvania.
