Steal Away Just a Little More of That Summer Fun All September Long
Keep all that warm weather fun going strong with this list of awesome outdoor events.
September serves as NEPA’s official transition to fall. Soon, we’ll all be changing from bathing suits to jeans and boots. And, with warm, sunny weather in the rearview, we’re… Hold on a minute. The days are still long. The nights are still warm. And we’ve got a ton of things to do. Nope. We ain’t done with summer just yet.
Get out there and get in a few more rounds on the golf course. There are bound to be a few trails you haven’t hiked yet, or a couple of hotspots you haven’t fished. And, what about all of that al fresco dining you had planned? Surely, you deserve a few patio drinks.
Pack up the cooler for a picnic in the park. Load up the car with snacks and head to the drive-in. Spend your Saturday mornings exploring some cool historical sites. Plan a day trip. Fill a basket at the farmers market. Start a new family camping tradition. Around here, summer doesn’t end with the first subtle whiff of pumpkin spice. Nah. We go down swinging kayak paddles and launching frisbees into the setting sun. Go, before it’s gone, have yourself a little more summer fun.
Stay in the know all month long with our comprehensive events calendar. And, if you’re still looking to capture a little late summer fun, check out this convenient can’t miss list.
