Start Summer a Little Early this May with Festivals, Amusement Parks, Baseball and More
It’s May! And as far as we can tell, the snow is well behind us. Just don’t go around casually mentioning how “nice” it is outside. Not yet, at least. Let’s just kinda’ sneak into these warmer spring days without winter noticing.
And when we hit those few gorgeous days in a row, we’ll declare it “NEPA Summer!” Only then can we finally start booking whitewater rafting trips and loading up our camping gear. Then, it will be time to dust off the old bike and hit those sorely-missed hiking trails. By May, NEPA’s beautiful state parks are calling. As are the scenic train rides and the cold beers and hot dogs at the ballpark.
Don’t let summer sneak up on you. Take that long list of awesome things to do and get after it. Start checking those amazing NEPA restaurants off your “must-do” list. Load up the car and start hitting all those cool, family-friendly places to see. Because this is NEPA, baby! And, before you know it, you’ll have added a thousand more things to that list.
Find all the springtime fun you can handle at DiscoverNEPA and on our comprehensive events calendar. And, if you still need a little help filling out that schedule, check out this convenient can’t miss list.
