20 Can’t Miss Events in August

There’s So Much Summer Left to Enjoy

Get out there and make the most of it!

At this point, summer is in its home stretch. And there’s just no way you’ve eaten enough ice cream, watched enough baseball, or dined on enough patios. At this point, you’ve probably only been to one and don’t even get me started on your annual unfulfilled dream – “Guys, this year we’re totally go to the drive-in.” No more excuses. Get it done.

Slide into those trusty flip flops, and point your tan, little toes toward the sun. You still have a whole month to explore those last few hiking trails on your list. That also equates to a few weekends full of fishing and camping. Ignore those back-to-school ads and take the kids to a waterpark. Let them finish up their summer reading on a family road trip. Trust me. They’ll thank you for it.

August is all about slowing down and tightening our grip on these remaining perfect summer days. So, go ahead and spend more time than you should in the pool, or on the golf course. Ride that roller coaster ten more times, and scarf down a few extra fried favorites at the county fair.

Let us help you lock in the last of those sweet, summer memories. Check out our awesome events page, and take your pick from this can’t miss list.
